Literary Art

In the last couple of weeks, I’ve highlighted bookstores and libraries, literary destinations and accommodations, and literary tours for bibliophile travelers.

Today, I thought I’d focus on other literary sites:
How about sitting on one of the 18 book benches in Istanbul representing the work of Turkish writers (https://ebookfriendly.com/book-benches-istanbul-pictures/)?

London also has book benches which feature stories linked to the city:  https://www.buzzfeed.com/danieldalton/bookbenches?utm_term=.xjK8RpOQBB#.rn8r2wLOkk.

How about making a wish at the Book Fountain (Fontana dei Libri) in Rome (http://www.artsinrome.com/fountain-books-rome/)?

How about admiring the book sculpture (Homenatge al Llibre) in Barcelona (http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WMQFGV_Homenatge_Al_Llibre_Barcelona_Spain)?

Check out this site for other bookish sculptures:  http://www.readitforward.com/gallery/the-coolest-book-themed-sculptures/.
