Canadian Literary Passings


A number of well-known Canadian novelists have passed away recently.

Richard B. Wright died on February 7.  He is best known for Clara Callan, which won both the Scotiabank Giller Prize and the Governor General's Award for Fiction.  His last novel was Nightfall; my review can be found at http://schatjesshelves.blogspot.ca/2016/06/review-of-nightfall-by-richard-b-wright.html
